Dr Stephen Parry,

Mineralogist and Petrologist from the BGS (British Geological Survey at Keyworth) will be giving an overview of the building stones of the East Midlands with particular emphasis being on the Stamford area and Rutland.

Also with time permitting we may be privileged to hear about the on-going project BGS has with English Heritage looking at building stone usage across England.

Entry is free for Members.
Students in full time education and for non-members for single meetings are £3.
